A Day of R&R

 What a night! We were quite a varied bunch of farang partying it up in Bangkok.  There was the group of Spaniards (one of which was the organizer of the evening) a couple of french guys and a girl, a guy who was born in Belgium, but mainly speaks french, a girl from the UK, a guy from Holland, a Japanese girl and an American girl.  I also briefly spoke to a girl from Zimbabwe, though she was quite hammered by that time...

So after partying it up last night I've been spending the day relaxing at home.  After waking up at 4pm I proceeded to laze about, doing absolutely nothing, while chatting with my fiance and my mother over Gtalk.

I then decided to pop out briefly to go hand in my laundry and buy some groceries.  I also went on the hunt for some hair dye since I simply could not stand the blandness of my hair colour anymore.  I lucked out and found a small store where I could buy some red hair dye so I have finally returned to being a redhead.

I was quite surprised to receive a phone call from the Thai girl I met last night.  She invited me to join her and a friend on an excursion to one of the floating markets tomorrow.  I'd heard of these markets, but hadn't been to one yet, so I was more than willing to take her up on her offer.

For now, as I sit here listening to Rammstein while typing this post, I am quite content to continue my lazing  about for the evening.   I think I'll watch a movie or something and then turn in for the night.
